Hey there fellow car enthusiasts, have you seen these two Chevy Blazers? I mean, really, what the heck is going on here?
First off, we have the 2020 Chevrolet Blazer. Now, don’t get me wrong, it’s a fantastic car, but are we just going to ignore the fact that it’s wearing the wrong name? I mean, come on Chevy, we all know what a Blazer is supposed to look like, and this just isn’t it. It’s like calling a cat a dog, or a burger a salad. (Okay, maybe not that extreme, but you get my point).
Anyway, back to the car. The 2020 Blazer has a sleek design with a sporty front grille and edgy body lines. And have you seen that metallic blue color? It’s definitely a head-turner. But, if you ask me, it just doesn’t have the rugged, off-roading feel that a Blazer should have. It’s more of a city-slicker SUV, if you know what I mean.
Now, on the other hand, we have Lingenfelter’s 450-horsepower supercharged Chevy Blazer. And oh boy, this thing is a beast. With its blacked-out exterior and massive wheels, it’s like the 2020 Blazer’s tough, older brother. (Or maybe even its evil twin, depending on how you look at it).
But let’s talk about that supercharger. 450 horsepower? Are you kidding me? That’s enough power to make even the toughest of muscle cars jealous. And with the blacked-out grille and aggressive stance, this Blazer is definitely not one to mess with.
So, there you have it folks. Two very different takes on the Chevy Blazer. Which one do you prefer? The city-slicking 2020 model or the off-roading monster that Lingenfelter has created? I’ll leave that up to you to decide.
But one thing’s for sure, Chevy definitely needs to rethink their naming strategy. Because, let’s be real, calling that sleek, city-slicking SUV a Blazer is like calling a goldfish a shark. It’s just not right.
So, until Chevy gets their act together, I think I’ll stick to just admiring these two Blazer-esque cars from afar. Pass the popcorn.
